Oil Pan Replacement
NOTE: On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine oil.
3. Remove front and RH splash shields.

4. Remove components in order shown, Fig. 44.

5. Using a scraper or separator tool, Fig. 45, remove oil pan, Fig. 46.
6. Remove oil strainer support bolts and oil strainer.

7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Remove all foreign material from contact surfaces prior to installation.
b. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant to oil pan, Fig. 47.
c. Tighten all fasteners to specifications.
