Valve Seat: Testing and Inspection

Inspect contact surface of each valve seat and valve face for roughness or damage. If necessary, resurface valve seat with a 45° valve seat cutter and/or resurface the valve face. Correct seat contact width is 0.032-0.055 inches. Ensure valve seating position is at the center of the valve face.
