Engine Control Module: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. Verify the PCM terminal voltages through the rear of the connectors. The PCM is located under the dash, center, on the floor, against the engine compartment bulkhead.
The connectors face the passenger side compartment and are covered by the carpet. The carpet is held in place with Velcro.

2. To remove and replace the PCM, proceed as follows:

a. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
b. Peel the carpet covering back from the front center of the passenger side to fully expose the PCM.
c. Disconnect the four PCM connectors.
d. Remove four bracket mounting bolts and slide the PCM out into the passenger side compartment.
e. Replacement is the reverse order of removal.

Tighten
Bolts to 69.6 - 96 in lb. (7.9 - 10.7 Nm)
