Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. Start the engine and let it idle.
2. Disconnect the PCV valve from the cylinder head cover.
3. Block the valve opening by hand and verify that suction is felt.
4. If not, check the PCV hose for clogging and damage.
5. If the hose is OK, replace the PCV valve.
