Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

1. Remove the transaxle range switch mounting nut and selector lever and manually turn the manual shaft to the N position.
2. Loosen the transaxle range switch mounting bolts.
3. Align the holes of the transaxle range switch and the manual shaft lever by inserting an 0.08 in (2.0 mm) diameter pin.
4. Tighten the mounting bolts.

Tightening torque: 69.6 - 94.8 in lb. (8 - 11 Nm)

5. Remove the alignment pin.
6. Recheck the continuity of the transaxle range switch.
7. If not correct, replace the transaxle range switch.
8. Connect the selector lever and tighten the mounting nut.

Tightening torque: 33.6 - 46.8 in lb. (44 - 64 Nm)m
