Throttle Body: Service and Repair

Description:

REMOVAL / INSPECTION / INSTALLATION
1. Drain engine coolant.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal notes.
3. Inspect the intake air system components visually and repair or replace if necessary.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation notes.

Description:

INSPECTION
1. Check the throttle body for wear and deposits.
2. Check if the throttle valve moves smoothly when the throttle lever is moved from fully closed to fully open.
3. Replace the throttle body if necessary.

NOTICE: Do not remove the thin seal coating from the throttle valves or bore.
