Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed): Testing and Inspection

Valve:

INSPECTION
1. Remove the air valve.
2. Cool the air valve to about 32°F (0°C).
3. Heat the air valve at (A) by using a heat gun and verify that part (B) moves in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
