Evaporative Emissions System: Testing and Inspection

Description:

SYSTEM OPERATION
1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and run it at idle.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the purge control solenoid valve as shown in the figure, and verity that no vacuum is felt at the purge control solenoid valve.
3. If not as specified, check the purge control solenoid valve.
