Rear Upper Arm






Replacement

1. Remove the rear wheel & tire.

Tightening torque :
88.3 - 107.9N.m(9.0 - 11.0Kgf.m, 65.1 - 79.6lb-ft)

2. Remove the split pin and the castle nut.

Tightening torque :
78.5 - 88.3N.m(8.0 - 9.0Kgf.m, 57.9 - 65.1lb-ft)




3. Disconnect the rear upper arm(A) with the rear sub frame by loosening the bolts & nuts.

Tightening torque :
137.3 - 156.9N.m(14.0 - 16.0Kgf.m, 101.3 - 115.7lb-ft)




4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Inspection

1. Check the bushing for wear and deterioration.
2. Check the rear upper arm for bending or breakage.
3. Check the ball joint dust cover for cracks.
4. Check all bolts.
