Rear Seat Belt






Replacement

Secondary Seat Belt Relacement

CAUTION:
- When installing the belt, make sure not to damaged the retractor.

1. Remove the secondary seat.
2. Remove the third seat.
3. Remove the rear door scuff trim.
4. After loosening the mounting bolt, then remove the rear seat belt lower anchor (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




5. Loosen the mounting screws.
6. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the transverse trim (A).

NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.




7. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the luggage side trim (A).




8. Disconnect the cap and then loosen the mounting bolts.
9. Using the screw driver or remover, remove the rear pillar trim (A).




10. After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the rear seat belt (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




11. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Replace ant damaged clips.

Secondary Center Seat Belt Replacement
1. After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the secondary center seat belt (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




2. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Secondary Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Driver)
1. Loosen the mounting bolt and then remove the buckle (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




2. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Secondary Seat Belt Replacement (Center)
1. Loosen the mounting bolts, and then remove the buckle (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




2. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Secondary Seat Belt Replacement (Passenger)
1. Loosen the mounting nut and then remove the buckle (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




2. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Check the different kind conclusion between buckle and tong. It is impossible to install under the different kind conclusion.
- Confirm the difference between side buckle and center buckle (center countermark)
- If foreign substance (drink, toothpick, sand, plastic, vinyl, iron piece, etc.) contaminates the operation part of inner button, tong coherence can not operate normally because of latch operating interference.
- Test of buckle coherence - Measure when buckle is fixed using the push pull gauge. (set the coherence below 3kgf)

Third Seat Belt Relacement
1. Remove the following items first.
A. Rear seat assembly.
B. Rear door scuff trim.
C. Transverse trim.
D. Secondary seat belt lower anchor.
2. Loosen the mounting bolt and then remove the third seat belt lower anchor (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




3. Loosen the mounting bolt and then remove the rear pillar trim (A).

NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.




4. Loosen the mounting bolt and then remove the third seat belt (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




5. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Third Seat Belt Buckle Replacement
1. Loosen the mounting bolt and then remove the seat belt buckle (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)




2. Installation is the reverse of removal.
