Front Seat Belt Replacement
CAUTION:
- When installing the belt, make sure not to damaged the pretensioner.
1. Remove the following items first.
A. Front door scuff trim.
B. Rear door scuff trim.
2. Remove the front anchor pretensioner cover pad (A).
CAUTION:
- Do not reuse the front anchor pretensioner cover pad (A).
3. Using a flat-tip screwdriver (B), disconnection the lower anchor pretensioner (A).
4. Remove the center pillar lower trim (A).
5. Remove the cap.
6. After loosening the mounting screw, then remove the center pillar upper trim (A).
7. After loosening the mounting bolt, then remove the upper anchor (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)
CAUTION:
- Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait at least three minutes before beginning work.
8. After disconnecting the pretensioner connector lock pin remove the SIS connector (A), Loosen the mounting bolt, then remove the pretensioner (B).
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)
9. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- After installing the pretensioner, confirm proper system operation; Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
Height Adjust Relacement
1. Remove the following items first.
A. Front door scuff trim.
B. Rear door scuff trim.
C. Front seat belt lower anchor.
D. Front seat belt upper anchor.
E. Center filler lower trim.
F. Center filler upper trim.
2. After loosening the bolt, then remove the height adjustor (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)
3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- Replace ant damaged clips.
- Make sure the height adjust properly.
Front Seat Belt Buckle Relacement
1. Remove the front seat.
2. After loosening the mounting bolt, then remove the front seat belt buckle (A).
3. Disconnect the mounting clip, and then remove the buckle.
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
