Repair Procedures






Removal

1. Remove the driver / assist seat back heater (A) and cushion heater (B).











Installation

1. Install the driver / assist seat back and cushion heater.

Inspection

1. Disconnect the connectors to check for continuity and measure the resistance between terminals.
2. Measure the resistance between A1 and B1 terminals of seat cushion.





Standard value
Seat cushion resistance : 1.52Ohms ± 10% (STD)/ 1.44Ohms ± 10% (ODS)

** STD : Standard, ODS : Occupant Detection System
3. Measure the resistance between C1 and C2 terminals of seat back.





Standard value
Seat back resistance : 0.86Ohms ± 10% (STD)/ 0.84Ohms ± 10% (ODS)

** STD : Standard, ODS : Occupant Detection System
4. To measure the resistance of seat back and cushion, connect the B and C connectors.
Measure the resistance between A1 and A4 terminals of seat.

Standard value
Seat back resistance : 2.38Ohms ± 10% (STD)/ 2.28Ohms ± 10% (ODS)

** STD : Standard, ODS : Occupant Detection System

NOTE:
Refer to the temperature of seat surface as shown the table.
