Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check shorting connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Main harness Circuit Inspection

1. Measure resistance of Buckle Sensor and Telltale lamp's connector
(1) Ignition "OFF".
(2) Disconnect (-) cable from battery and wait for more than 1 minute.
(3) Disconnect IPM and Buckle Sensor and Telltale lamp's connector and then disconnect SRSCM connector.
(4) Measure resistance among circuits of Buckle Sensor and Telltale lamp's connector

Specfication :Infinity Ohms




(5) Is the measured resistance within specifications?
