OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves installing a replacing the HVAC Control Module.
MODELS:
2011 MK Patriot
2011 PM Compass
NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with the manual A/C and Heater Control Module (Sales Code HAA) built between December 23, 2010 (MDH 1223XX) and January 4, 2011 (MDH 0104XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Vehicles may exhibit an condition where the HVAC blower motor continues to run even if the switch is in the off position.
DIAGNOSIS:
If customers complain of the symptom condition, perform the following repair procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Replace the MIC A/C and Heater Control Module per the service information available in DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT, Group 24 Heating and Air Conditioning > Controls > Control, A/C and Heater > Removal and Installation.
