D-Pillar Trim Panel - Removal






REMOVAL

Special Tools:






Compass and Patriot





NOTE: Compass shown, Patriot similar.

NOTE: Left side shown, right side similar.

1. Remove the quarter trim panel (2), Quarter Trim Panel - Removal.

Compass

Left Side





1. Using a trim stick or equivalent, separate the retaining clips (2) and remove the left D-pillar trim panel, if required.

Right Side





1. If the second row center seat belt lower anchor (1) is connected, access and unbuckle the lower anchor latch plate from the unique, keyed lower anchor buckle (2). Use an ignition key or a small screwdriver to depress the small latch release button on the anchor buckle.





2. Separate the D-pillar trim retaining clips (3), using a trim stick or equivalent.
3. Pull the seat belt (2) through the hole in the D-pillar trim (1) and remove.

Patriot

Left Side





1. Using a trim stick or equivalent, separate the retaining clips (2) and remove the left D-pillar trim panel, if required.

Right Side






NOTE: Compass shown, Patriot similar.

2. Separate the D-pillar trim retaining clips (4), using a trim stick or equivalent.
3. Pull the seat belt through the hole in the D-pillar trim (3) and remove.
