Oil Pressure Switch - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle Service and Repair
3. Remove the front skid plate, if equipped Skid Plate - Removal
4. Remove the splash shield from the right side frame rail Splash Shield - Removal
5. If vehicle is equipped with an A/C compressor, remove the accessory drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal
6. Remove the three bolts (2) and reposition the A/C compressor (1), if equipped.





7. Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.
8. Remove the oil pressure switch using oil pressure socket C-4597 (1) or equivalent.
