INSTALLATION






NOTE: Clean all propeller shaft bolts and apply Mopar Lock & Seal Adhesive or Loctite(R) 242 to the threads before installation.

1. Install shaft with reference marks aligned on companion flanges.
2. Install propeller shaft (1) flange (2) bolts and tighten to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).





3. Install shaft (1) on transfer case flange (2).
4. Install bolts to transfer case flange (2) and tighten bolts to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
5. Install transmission crossmember.
