Intake Manifold - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Install intake manifold gaskets.
2. Install intake manifold.
3. Install intake manifold retaining bolts and tighten in sequence shown in to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
4. Install left and right radio suppressor straps.
5. Install throttle body assembly.
6. Install fuel rail Fuel Rail - Installation.
7. Install ignition coils Ignition Coil - Installation.
8. Install coolant temperature sensor Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Installation.
9. Connect electrical connectors for the following components:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor
- Electronic Throttle Control (ETC)
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor
- Coolant Temperature (CTS) Sensor
- Ignition coils
- Fuel injectors

10. Install top oil dipstick tube retaining bolt and ground strap.
11. Install generator including electrical connections Generator - Installation.
12. Connect Vapor purge hose, Brake booster hose, Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose.
13. Install air conditioning compressor including electrical connections.
14. Fill cooling system Service and Repair.
15. Install accessory drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
16. Install air cleaner housing and throttle body resonator. Tighten resonator bolts 5 Nm (44 in. lbs.).
17. Connect negative cable to battery.
