C-Pillar Trim Panel-Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Route the seat belt (3) through the slot in the upper C-pillar trim panel (1).
2. Position the locating tabs on the bottom of the upper C-pillar trim panel into the slots in the top of the quarter trim panel (2).
3. Rotate the top part of the trim panel into position and install the screw.






CAUTION: The upper trim plug must be removed and discarded to gain access to the upper retaining screw before attempting to remove the trim panel. Failure to remove the trim screw may result in damage to the trim panel or the retaining clip.

4. Install a new trim plug (1) into the trim panel.





5. Engage the seat belt lower anchor (2) under the loosened bolt (3) that secures the seat latch striker bracket to the rear floor panel. Be certain the seat belt webbing between the turning loop and the lower anchor is not twisted.
6. Tighten the bolt that secures the lower anchor (2) and the seat latch striker bracket to the rear floor panel. Tighten the screw to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
7. Restore the second row outboard seat to its seating position.
