Quarter Trim Panel - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the quarter trim panel in the vehicle.
2. If equipped, connect the wire harness connector to the power outlet.
3. Seat the trim panel fully and install the three screws that secure the quarter trim panel to the quarter panel.





4. For the right side trim, align the rear HVAC ducts and seat the trim panel fully. Install the screws.





5. Install the D-pillar trim, Installation





6. Position the seat belt lower anchor (4) to the outboard rear corner of the third row seat support bracket (1). Be certain that the belt webbing is not twisted between the top of the seat back and the lower anchor.
7. Install and tighten the screw (5) that secures the lower anchor to the seat support bracket. Tighten the screw to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).





8. Position the seat into the vehicle and align the front hooks with the strikers (4).
9. Position the rear of the seat over the rear studs and locator pins (1).
10. Install the center nut and bolt (2) and tighten to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
11. Install the outer nuts (3) and tighten to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





12. Position the lower trim (1) and seat the retaining clips fully.





13. Position the header molding (2) into place and seat the retaining clips fully.





14. Install the C-pillar trim (1), C-Pillar Trim Panel-Installation.
15. Position the second row seats back.
