Fuel Temperature Sensor: Description and Operation

Engine Fuel Temperature Sensor
The EFT sensor continuously monitors the temperature of fuel being injected into the engine; this value is used by the ECM to provide compensation for the changing flow-characteristics of the fuel system with temperature. The ECM therefore ensures that engine performance is unaffected by temperature changes in the fuel supply.
