E3 Check Harness -VE Continuity (Output Speed Sensor)

E3 CHECK HARNESS -VE CONTINUITY (OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR)





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. With EM007 and EM046 disconnected, measure the resistance between EM046/010 and EM007/044.
- Is the resistance less than 0.5 ohms?
Yes --> GO to [E4] E4 Check Output Speed Sensor Coil Continuity
No --> Inspect EM007 and EM046 for corrosion, bent / pushed back pins or locate & repair the harness Test the system for normal operation.
