D8 Check For Short to B+

D8 CHECK FOR SHORT TO B+





1. Disconnect the harness connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
3. With EM007 and EM046 disconnected, measure the resistance between EM007/005 and EM007/026.
4. Repeat for EM007/001 and EM007/026.
5. EM007/029 and EM007/026.
6. EM007/004 and EM007/026.
7. EM007/051 and EM007/026.
- Is the resistance greater than 10 M ohms?
Yes --> GO to [D9] D9 Check Harness Short to Ground
No --> Inspect EM007 and EM046 for corrosion, bent / pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation.
