D6 Check Harness Short to Ignition

D6 CHECK FOR SHORT TO IGNITION





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. With EM007 and EM046 disconnected, measure the resistance between EM007/052 and EM007/054.
4. Repeat for EM007/053 and EM007/054.
- Is the resistance greater than 10 M ohms?
Yes --> GO to [D7] D7 Check Harness Continuity - Pressure Regulator
No --> Inspect EM007 for corrosion, bent / pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation.
