D4 Check For Short to B+

D4 CHECK FOR SHORT TO B+





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. With EM007 and EM046 disconnected, measure the resistance between EM007/052 and EM007/026.
4. Repeat for EM007/053 and EM007/026.
- Greater than 10 M ohms?
Yes --> GO to [D5] D5 Check Harness Short to Ground
No --> Inspect EM007 and EM046 for corrosion, bent / pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation.
