C8 Check For Short To B+

C8 CHECK FOR SHORT TO B+





1. Disconnect the harness connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
3. With EM007 and EM046 disconnected, measure the resistance between EM007/030 and EM007/026.
4. Repeat for EM007/033 and EM007/026.
5. EM007/032 and EM007/026.
- Is the resistance greater than 10 M ohms?
Yes --> GO to [C9] C9 Check Harness Short To Ground
No --> Inspect EM007 and EM046 for corrosion, bent / pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation.
