B7 Check Harness Core to Core Insulation

B7 CHECK HARNESS CORE TO CORE INSULATION





1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. With EM007 and EM046 disconnected, measure the insulation resistance between EM007/004 and EM007/001.
4. Repeat for EM007/004 and EM007/005.
5. Repeat for EM007/004 and EM007/029.
6. Repeat for EM007/004 and EM007/051.
7. Repeat for EM007/004 and EM007/052.
8. Repeat for EM007/004 and EM007/053.
- Is the resistance greater than 10 M ohms?
Yes --> GO to [B8] B8 End
No --> Inspect EM007 & EM046 for corrosion, bent/pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness Test the system for normal operation.
