Test D: C1267

D : C1267 - Modulator Valve Failure

D1: CHECK CONDITION OF FUSE

1. Check fuse located in underbon net fusebox, fuse 16.

- Is the fuse OK?
-> Yes Go to D2
-> No Replace fuse.

D2: MEASURE CONNECTOR VOLTAGE

1. Disconnect connector LF037. Measure the voltage between pins 25 and 24.

- Is the voltage approximately 12 volts?
-> Yes Replace HCU.
-> No Go to D3

D3: INSPECT HARNESS/CONNECTORS

1. Inspect harness / connectors from ABS module to fusebox for damage / corrosion, bent / pushed back pins.

- Is damage found?
-> Yes Repair as necessary.
-> No Replace HCU.
