Hydraulic Fluid Leak from Convertible Header Rail

CONDITION SUMMARY:

HEAT DEGRADATION REQUIRES HYDRAULIC REPAIR

Situation:

Hydraulic hose degradation through heat soak in hot climate conditions may result in hydraulic oil leaking from the header rail into the interior of the car.

Action:

Should a customer express concern, cut and replace the existing hoses at the A-pillar area, behind the auxiliary fuse box location. It is no longer necessary to change the entire hydraulic hose. Follow the Service Instruction outlined below.
