Operation

The door locking relay, located in the fascia right hand end fusebox, supplies power to the door locking actuator of each door.

The key barrel switch and the exterior door handle switch are hardwired to the door module. The outputs of each door module are hardwired to their respective lock actuator.

Control messages and status information is passed via the SCP network, between the driver's door module, the passenger door module, the security and locking module, the body processor and the instrument cluster.
