Wheel Speed Sensor: Description and Operation

Each wheel hub has a toothed rotor installed and each vertical link or hub carrier has an inductive wheel speed sensor which:
^ Provide hard wired road speed signals to the Brake Control Module (BCM).
^ These are then relayed to the Controller Area Network (CAN) for vehicle use, such as the instrument cluster speed display.
