For the procedure, refer to JTIS 5, 1999 MY vehicles, Group 3, Section 307 - 01A Automatic Transmission, Removal & Installation and SRO 44-20-01.

Replace the transmission and the torque converter together. Replacement transmissions are supplied overfilled with oil, to compensate for the oil to needed to fill the cooling lines and cooler.
