^ Faulty TCM

Action(s) to take:
^ GO to [Pinpoint Test G]

Pinpoint Test G: P1601





TEST G: RETRIEVE DTCS

NOTE: Following ECU power-down, the DTC will be lost and may only be displayed when the ignition is energized.

Connect scan tool
Record DTC(s) freeze frame data and
GO to [G2]

G2: RENEW TCM
Renew the TCM

GO to [G3]

G3: END

NOTE: The following step must be carried out in order that system adaptions can take place.

Drive the vehicle for a period from cold to include idle, brisk acceleration and steady state cruising up to and including normal engine temperature. Check for the presence of DTC
^ Has the fault code cleared?

Yes
STOP
