Fuel Return Line: Description and Operation
Excess fuel is directed back to the fuel tank via a return line.
The fuel lines run from front-to-rear down the vehicle's left side and consist of two assembly clusters front and rear, which are jointed near the fuel filter position.
All fuel lines are serviceable; the removal of the front cluster requires no major disassembly but rear cluster removal requires the lowering of the rear suspension assembly.
Quick connectors are used throughout the fuel system, including the fuel tank to underfloor pipe connections above the rear axle.
