Twin Fan and Motor Assembly

Removal
1. Open the driver's door, or both doors if necessary, to allow the side windows to drop. Ensure that the doors remain open until after the battery has teen disconnected.





2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Remove the battery cover.
3. Open the engine compartment and fit paintwork protection sheets.





4. Remove the two nuts which secure the fan and motor assembly to the radiator.
5. Raise the vehicle.





6. Disconnect the harness multiplug from the cooling fan.
Disconnect the multiplug from the high speed fan and reposition the harness from the retaining clip.





7. Disconnect the harness multiplug from the cooling fan.
Disconnect the multiplug from the low speed fan and reposition the harness from the retaining clip.





8. Carefully release and reposition the climate control pipe from the securing clip on the fan and motor assembly.
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Carefully remove the fan and motor assembly from the vehicle.
11. Remove the harness and pipe securing clips from the assembly.

Installation
1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Ensure that the fan and motor assembly locate into the lower mountings.
2. Connect the battery and fit the battery cover.
