B3: Check Amplifier Ground Continuity

NOTE: Disconnection of ALL connectors between the amplifier & the ECM or amplifier & the coils, for any bank, will cause either PI367 or PI368 to be flagged. Please ensure that ALL connectors are, or have been, correctly located before condemning an amplifier module.





With EM027 disconnected, measure the resistance between EM027/009 & ground EM2AR

Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?

Yes
Renew the amplifier module
Go to B4

No
Go to A11
