C4: Check Harness Continuity - Ground (Mechanical Guard)

With conditions as in C3, measure the resistance between
PI042/002 & EM011/012
PI042/002 & EM010/020

Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?

Yes
Go to C5 C5: Check Harness Continuity - Power (Throttle Position)

No
Inspect PI042, EM011, EM010 & PI001 for bent/pushed back pins or locate & repair the harness/splice EMS02 or PIS01 & test the system for normal operation.
If OK go to C18 C18: Check Sensor Supply Voltage
