A3: Check Purge Valve Continuity
With EM058 disconnected, measure the resistance of the EVAP valve coil at pins 1 & 2.
Is the resistance between 25 & 40 Ohms?
Yes
Reconnect EM058
Go to A4 A4: Check Electrical Feed
No
Renew EVAP valve.
With EM058 disconnected, measure the resistance of the EVAP valve coil at pins 1 & 2.
Is the resistance between 25 & 40 Ohms?
Yes
Reconnect EM058
Go to A4 A4: Check Electrical Feed
No
Renew EVAP valve.
