A9: Check Harness Continuity Coil to Control Module

NOTE: The recorded DTC will indicate which cylinder(s)





With the coil connectors PI018, PI019, PI020, PI021, PI022, PI023, PI024, PI025, EM027 & EM029 disconnected, measure the resistance, as required, between:
PI018/002 & EM027/008
PI021/002 & EM027/011
PI023/002 & EM027/007
PI024/002 & EM027/012
PI019/002 & EM029/011
PI020/002 & EM029/007
PI022/002 & EM029/008
PI025/002 & EM029/012

Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?

Yes
Go to A10

No
Inspect connectors PI018, PI019, PI020, PI021, PI022, PI023, PI024, PI025, PI001 & EM027 for bent/pushed back pins or locate & repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation
