The rear shock absorber consists of a hydraulic damper unit and a co-axially mounted suspension spring.

The spring is installed between a lower spring seat on the damper body and an upper spring seat installed at the end of the damper rod.

The complete shock absorber and spring assembly is mounted between the cast lower wishbone and the vehicle body.
