Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect vehicle battery ground lead. Service and Repair





2. Disconnect the purge valve harness multiplug





3. Remove the purge valve fixings (2)





4. Remove the vacuum connection





5. Release the clips and disconnect in turn the lower and upper hoses


Installation
1. Fitting a new purge valve assembly is the reverse of the removal procedure, noting that the mounting rubbers should be transferred. See Battery Reconnection Procedure. Service and Repair
