Sensor Power Supply

For DTC P1240 outputs from the following sensors are continuously monitored:
1. Throttle position sensor
2. Pedal demand sensor
3. Mechanical guard sensor

Should they ALL fall outside their valid ranges then a counter is started. If the counter is allowed to reach a calibrated value a failure judgement will be made.

The DTC P1243 continuously checks outputs from:
1. Throttle position sensor
2. Pedal demand sensor
3. Mechanical guard sensor
4. Coolant temperature sensor
5. Intake air sensor

Should ALL voltages be high, a counter is started. When the counter reaches a predetermined value, a failure judgement will be made.

The diagnostic for DTCs P1241 & 1242 continuously checks the sensor supply value against a valid range. If the value is lower or higher than the range, the appropriate low or high failure judgement will be made.
