Idle Speed Control (ISC)
If the engine idle speed is = to, or greater than, 100 rpm more than the "target" idle speed, a counter is started. Should the counter run for more than 2.9 seconds a failure judgement will be made. The same conditions apply if the idle speed is found to be up to 200 rpm low.The appropriate DTC is stored if the failure judgement is made on two successive trips with reset if three successive trips are completed without reoccurrence.
