The brake pedal switch assembly used on 1998 MY Sedans is now the only switch available for 1995-97 MY Sedans (Image 1).

ACTION:
The current brake pedal switch assembly, as listed under parts information, must be installed if replacement of the switch is necessary. An adapter harness, also listed under parts information, is required to connect the switch to the harness of the 1995-96 MY vehicles (VIN 720001-787953). Any excess harness length should be coiled and taped securely in place. The switch connects directly to the existing vehicle harness on 1997 MY vehicles (VIN 787954-812255).
