Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

Refrigerant Pressure Switch:

The refrigerant pressure switch is located under the hood on the liquid line.

The switch contacts open when abnormal pressures are sensed. This action inhibits the compressor clutch drive.
