Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation
Evaporator Temperature-SensorThe sensor detects the air temperature leaving the evaporator, and sends this signal to the Air Conditioning Control Module (A/CCM).
When the temperature approaches 0 °C, the A/CCM disengages the compressor to prevent freezing conditions. When the temperature rises above 3 °C, the A/CCM re-engages the compressor.
