Driver Air Bag Module

Driver-Side Airbag:

- Ensure steering system is centralized and in the lowest tilt position.
- Disconnect the battery and wait for one minute before attempting airbag removal.
- Turn steering wheel 90 ° from its straight ahead position to the left and loosen the first module securing bolt.
- From the last position, turn the steering wheel 180 ° to the right and loosen the second bolt.
- Carefully remove the module from the steering wheel; disconnect the airbag module harness multi-plug.
- Fit and align new module to the steering wheel and turn this to its straight ahead position.
- Check and ensure that the airbag light does not indicate any fault conditions.
