Radiator: Service and Repair
SUPERCHARGER RADIATOR ASSEMBLY, RENEW
- Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on two axle stands.
- Drain the coolant from the radiator.
- Remove the radiator grille and radiator grille surround.
- Remove the front bumper beam securing bolts and move the bumper forwards for access.
- Place a drain tray in position under the supercharger radiator to collect the remaining coolant as the hoses are disconnected.
- Disconnect the supercharger coolant pump hose (2 Fig. 1) from the radiator.
- Disconnect the intercooler hose (1 Fig. 1) from the super- charger radiator.
- Remove the bolts (3 Fig. 1) securing the radiator to the crossmember, release the radiator from the upper mounting grommets (4 Fig. 1) and remove the radiator from the vehicle.
- Fit a new supercharger radiator to the upper mounting grommets; fit and tighten the securing bolts.
- Connect the supercharger coolant pump hose to the radiator and tighten the securing clamp.
- Connect the intercooler hose to the radiator and tighten the securing clamp.
- Position the front bumper; fit and tighten the bumper beam securing bolts.
- Fit the radiator grille surround and radiator grille.
- Lower the vehicle from the axle stands.
- Fill the radiator with coolant.
