Trunk Seal Retainer

Fig. 1:

- Displace and remove the left and right hand tail light covers.
- Remove the trunk floor and battery box tray.
- Slacken and remove the fir-tree fasteners securing the tread plate to the body (arrowed on Fig. 1).
- Remove the trunk seal retainer by pulling this vertically up. (This releases the the retainers integral snap on fixings from the sill panel top).
- Note the harness being clipped top the retainer lower edge.
- Unclip cross car harness from lower edge of retainer.

Refit in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
