EGR Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Function Sensor
1. Open the hood and fit a wing cover.
2. Open the trunk and remove the battery cover.
3. Disconnect the battery ground lead.
4. Release the EGR sensor multi-plug from the mounting bracket and disconnect the multi-plug.
5. Undo and remove the EGR sensor.

NOTE: Fitting a new EGR valve is the reverse of the removal procedure.
